Q：How do you envision growing alongside Singapore, and in what ways do you hope to keep contributing to the nation?

Our Singapore base was established in 1993 and proudly celebrates its 33rd year of operations this year. Originally launched with a targeted focus on supporting Singapore’s vital energy and chemical sectors, particularly clients centered around Jurong Island, our operations have steadily evolved over the decades.

By continuously advancing the proprietary sealing and material technologies we have cultivated over time, we have expanded our product supply and technical support into a wide spectrum of modern sectors, including semiconductors, seismic isolation, and the IT industry. Through these efforts, our Singapore base has grown into a vital cornerstone for driving industrial development across Southeast Asia.

Q：What core beliefs, commitments, and passions do you value most in your daily operations?

Our greatest pride lies in our material development capabilities, refined continuously for over 100 years since our founding, and our advanced fluid control technologies. By handling the entire product lifecycle in-house, from foundational material research to product design and manufacturing, we deliver exceptionally high-quality and reliable products that have earned deep, lasting trust from our clients.

While maintaining an absolute commitment to “Quality First,” we constantly challenge ourselves to enter new technological frontiers and emerging markets. Through our specialized leak-prevention technologies, we are dedicated to building a safer, richer society while reducing environmental impact, supporting industrial progress, and continuing to create a future that “supports society.”

As a crucial regional hub driving the PILLAR Group’s growth across Southeast Asia, our Singapore office is actively expanding its business footprint, with a major focus on semiconductor-related fields. We aim to spark new market demand by further deepening our relationships of trust with regional clients through swift technical proposals and high-quality service.

Furthermore, we are accelerating our expansion into high-growth sectors such as medical technology, data communications, electric vehicles (EVs), and hydrogen energy. By fully leveraging PILLAR’s century-long material expertise and fluid control capabilities, we look forward to empowering Southeast Asia’s industrial advancement and fostering a truly sustainable future.

What fascinates me most about Singapore is how such a compact country serves as a global nexus where people and enterprises from every corner of the world gather seamlessly.
