In 2020, marking its landmark 70th anniversary, the parent company transitioned its global identity from “TOA ELECTRIC INDUSTRIAL” to the unified brand “ARTRON” Guided by the refreshed vision of “Delivering ‘Monodzukuri’ (the Japanese philosophy of manufacturing excellence) to the World,” the company continues to evolve, delivering high-value solutions from its ASEAN hub to the global market.

At the helm of this historic trajectory is Managing Director Hiroyuki Kikuchi. “When we first entered Singapore, our primary mandate was supporting Japanese corporations with their overseas manufacturing, focusing on everyday consumer products such as mobile phones and home appliances,” notes Mr. Kikuchi.

“However, as global markets transformed, our portfolio evolved dynamically. Today, we specialize in high-tech sectors, including sensors for Advanced Driver Assistant System (ADAS), semiconductor-related components, and advanced medical devices. Markets inevitably shift, but our core philosophy remains unshakable: we do not merely procure parts to meet immediate demand—we position ourselves as a strategic partner that co-creates value right from the planning and design stages.”
